4-legged fixed steel structure. Forties Alpha processes oil from the Forties, Maule and Bacchus fields, plus multiphase produced fluids exported from the Forties Echo platform. Oil plus recovered NGLs are transported to Forties Charlie for booster pumping into the 36" BP Forties Pipeline System (FPS) to Cruden Bay.

A satellite platform bridge-linked to Forties Alpha was installed in late 2013. This enhances the platform separation and gas processing capacity. More Information
